Piro speaks:
The big hang up in this one was two things - its so hard to try to cludge concepts into dialogue - and trying to get a solid reading on Kimiko can be hard (face it, i'm not a girl, how can i really know what it feels like to always have the sexual attention of guys always on you? You can't write a girl from a guy's perspective - it creates those unrealistic creatures that permiate entertainment culture)
the real killer was the last frame. What you see is what i started with. I wasn't happy with it originally because it didnt fit the dialogue right. So i changed it, and changed it, and tweaked it and redid the eyes and the mouth and the framing, over and over again... till in the end, i finally went back to the original >_< What a waste of time. But i guess its just part of the process.
